As you may guess from the title, this blog will not be like so many others. My aim here will not be specifically to amuse, offend, or pump myself up... although I think we can be sure all of the aforementioned will happen on occasion. My vocabulary will be extensive, but at the same time I find spell check annoying and will almost certainly muck up my paragraph and grammatical structures. I'll start sentences with prepostions and will sometimes leave out a capitol letter, but rest assured that the thoughts are coming to my finger tips so quickly that I'll be lucky to do as well as I do.
NOW FOR THE "WARNING":
I am a follower of Jesus Christ, the One revealed in scripture as being God Himself. I believe scripture is the revealed Word of God and have investigated and found it to be one hundred percent accurate. This means that while I'm fallable and sinful, I aim to filter all thoughts, wants, needs, perspectives, words, and deeds through the revealed will of God as it is found in scripture. THIS WILL BE OFFENSIVE at times... whether you identify yourself as a Christian, Mormon, atheist, agnostic, or somewhere in between. My facebook page will be for quips, family and personal updates, and photos. THIS BLOG WILL BE FOR DEEPER MATTERS. (And no, I will not always put thoughts in BOLD. I just want the readers' attention for now.)
All that previous paragraph was for this: I aim to speak about spiritual matters- the human condition, God and the Bible (LOTS OF THEOLOGICAL AND DOCTRINAL ISSUES), family, and other things all from my perspective, that is, the Christian perspective. Will I fail? Yes. Will I misrepresent at times? Probably, but hopefully not often. Most importantly, will I accept feedback. Email me with questions, comments, critiques, challenges, topic requests, whatever floats your boad. "And here... we... go."
